Management of machine safety risk mitigation projects

Our client, operating in the pharmaceutical sector, implemented a new risk management program called Machine Safety. The goal was to minimize high-priority risks within a short time frame to meet the company's objectives and ensure employee safety.

Genipro was mandated with supporting the client in managing the implementation of machine-related risk mitigation measures. This involved coordinating with various stakeholders and monitoring the execution of activities.

The successful execution of the risk mitigation project under the Machine Safety program resulted in a safer factory environment and greater employee confidence in using the machines. No incidents or injuries occurred during the operation of machines that were modified throughout the program.

 One of the challenges of this project was helping employees recognize that certain machines posed real risks, even if they had not caused accidents for many years. Another challenge was collaborating with the client to identify and implement solutions without disrupting our client’s operations.
