Profitability analysis of different pharmaceutical manufacturing scenarios

In preparation for the commercial launch of a pharmaceutical product in Phase 3 clinical studies, our client wanted to obtain a feasibility study including a project profitability analysis on different commercial production scenarios.

Genipro was mandated to conduct the study which compared the feasibility, schedule, cost and profitability of various commercial production scenarios, including different CMOs, as well as an option to provide the client with in-house production capacity. The study had to cover engineering, operations, technology transfer and regulatory aspects for both the drug substance and the drug product. The financial analysis also had to consider investment and operating costs on a 10 year period.

Our experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and installation, as well as our 360-degree approach, has allowed us to consider all technical and regulatory aspects and then put them into a context relevant to the client. The in-depth analysis of the different scenarios and the clear and accessible presentation of the results helped the client to see clearly and make the best investment choice for the future of his organization.
